Industrial energy use, is what allows industries to extract resources and produce goods. Industrial energy use should not be confused with commercial energy use; while both are businesses, commercial means engaging in commerce, industrial means producing goods, usually from raw materials.[1]
Industries can use energy in many different ways; the metal industry uses a good portion, along with paper and pulp, chemical, and food industries. These can be explored below.
