Cubic feet is a unit of volume, given by the dimension of ft3. It is used in the Imperial system of units, and can be visualized as a box with side lengths of 1 ft (0.3048 meters). Used on a much larger scale, cubic feet are used to describe vast amounts of oil and natural gas production and distribution (see trillion cubic feet).
